Come and join our Summer Festival of Fun!

Saturday 19th August

Come along to County Square in Paisley town centre this Saturday, 19th August, for the Paisley First Summer Festival of Fun!

From 11 am to 12noon we have Tickles The Clown, back by popular demand!

Then from 1.30pm until 3.30pm there’ll be story-time from The Village Storytelling Centre inside the Piazza Shopping Centre Paisley

Then we’ll be rocking the town centre with the Paisley First Unsigned Showcase…Hosted by Loud ‘n Proud and Brick Lane Studios Paisley

We have a cracking line-up for you –

The Asuras 12noon – 12.40pm

The Vanities 1 pm – 1.40pm

Lemonhaze 2pm – 2.40pm

Delphi. 3pm – 3.40pm

The Turkey Nuts 4 pm – 4.40pm

So a great day out for all the family, come and join in the fun!

 

Saturday 12th August

Heat 3 of Paisley’s Got Talent will be taking place on Saturday 12th August at Johnston Street starting at 1 pm

Who will be the last contestants to book their place in the Grand Final, and be in with a chance to win the £1,000.00 star prize?

As well as our Paisley’s Got Talent contest, Pirate Pete will kick off the fun at Johnston Street at 11.30am!

Plus there will be face painting, balloon modelling and goodies for the children!

It’s an event not to be missed so get along to Johnston Street on Saturday 12th August!

 

Saturday 5th August

 

From 11.30am we’ll have a Frozen Singalong with Elsa, do you want to build a snowman?

You never know with the Scottish summer!

Hopefully, it will be dry this Saturday as we also have a band showcase for you – Twenty Four – if you like indie pop and Chesko Gonzalezc – a Latin acoustic band

The music kicks off at 1 pm!

Saturday 29th July

Heat 2 of Paisley’s Got Talent and Tickles the Clown! What more can anyone ask for!

 

Saturday 22nd July

We’ll be taking a break on Saturday 22nd July for the Paisley Pipe Band Championships and Paisley Arts Centre’s 30th Anniversary Celebrations but we’ll be back at County Square on Saturday 29th July for more fun and the second heat of Paisley’s Got Talent!

Saturday 15th July

 

Pirate Pete kicks off the fun at 11 am at County Square this Saturday, 15th July, for two hours of non-stop, a madcap mix of music, magic and jokes!

Then at 1.30pm – 3.30pm the main event – the first heat of Paisley First’s Paisley’s Got Talent competition!

Who will make it through to the Grand Final on 26th August?

From 3.30pm to 5 pm there will be tales of adventure from Village Storytelling and from 1.30pm – 4.30pm there will also be face painting and balloon modelling too!

And don’t forget, Buddie the Paisley Lion will also be popping in to say hello!

Saturday 8th July

As part of the Paisley First Summer Festival of Fun 2017, there will be everything from children’s entertainers, live music and storytelling taking place at County Square starting this Saturday, 8th July from 10.30am until 5 pm.

This Saturday, from 10.30am until 12.30pm, Cheeko the Clown will be entertaining kids of all ages with balloons galore and more than a few tricks up his sleeve!

From 1.30pm until 3 pm, Paisley band The Spuds will be providing music to our ears.

And if that wasn’t enough, there will be a children’s DJ and disco for those who just want to dance dance dance – from 3 pm to 5 pm!

Buddie the Paisley Lion, Paisley First’s mascot, is also planning to make an appearance!

So if you want some free family entertainment while shopping or popping into town for lunch, head to Paisley this Saturday.
